Mary Poppins Just A Spoonful Of Sugar SVG file
Kitchen Conversion Chart 12″ wide or Kitchen Conversion Chart 10.5″ wide
PROJECT NOTES
Instructions: Download the SVG files you would like by clicking the hyperlinks above, under the image. I created three separate files so you could use any of the files by themselves. Also to keep the size 18 font, I made a 12 inch wide version and a 10.5 inch version by adjusting the column widths.
Use your Cricut machine with the fine point blade to cut out image in removable vinyl. The image we used is approximately 12″ wide by 12″ tall.
Then weed (click here for a video) the image and apply transfer tape.
For kitchen cabinets: Then carefully line up the image with the bottom of the cabinet and apply.
For cutting boards: Wipe down the surface with rubbing alcohol. Then carefully line up the image with the bottom line of the board. Burnish it a LOT before removing the transfer tape! You will need to be extra careful when removing the transfer tape. Use your fingers to press everything down and then use some heat to be sure everything has adhered.
I used a 14″ x 11″ Core Bamboo Cutting Board from Burlington Coat Factory for $7, but I couldn’t find it online at there store. I did find this one. Click here to see it.
Other tips: I used the lines between the numbers to make weeding easier. I slowly weeded one row at a time to make sure the numbers stayed in place.
I cut the clear transfer paper about .25″ above the bottom of the removable vinyl so that I would be able to more easily level the image.
Clean the entire application area with rubbing alcohol.
When applying go very slowly to be sure that all air bubbles are removed as you apply. If you find air bubbles after application they are difficult to remove.
